Head inside for the latest rundown on LSU's recruiting efforts

**** I’m told by one source that Miami’s new staff has really, really turned up the heat on LSU defensive line commitment Glen Logan. The Destrehan product grew up loving the Hurricanes, but he grew close to the LSU staff, and with his mom really wanting him in Baton Rouge, he made his commitment to the Tigers. But he’s going to think long and hard about the decision now that the Hurricanes have a new staff and they are pressing him. I hope to catch up with Logan this week for more on where his mind is at right now when thinking over his decision. Don’t be surprised if both schools get an official visit in the next few weeks.

I would suggest not wasting too much bandwidth on even believing we have a smidgen of a shot at landing him.
Waste of time.
 
Move on fellas. Mom wants him in L$U, he's probably gonna end up at LSU! Would love to be wrong about this, but I can't see it. NEXT!!!

Willis & Collins mom wanted both them at LSU, McDowell's mom did not want him at MSU, and We all know the Alex Collins situation.

If he ends up making a NSD decision it will be Miami.

DESTREHAN has been good to us.

Not coming here, never was, Im very familiar with his school, I only like our chances if LSU pushes him out to take Taylor instead or they run into a numbers issue. Its crazy to think though that they could end up with 5 DTs in Lawrence, Alexander, Christmas Giles, Taylor, and Logan.
 
How many times have we been on the other end where the mom wants the kid to come to Miami only for them to go elsewhere?

They both ended up signing with 2 schools not named UofMiami.

She was a huge LSU fan and both kids gave her the proverbial eff u and committed elsewhere at the Under Armour game
 
We've seen this story play out about 50 times over the years. The kid chooses LSU every single time. Only reason I'd say there's better than a 0.5% chance is because he goes to DEstrehan so he probably grew up idolizing Ed Reed.
