So I hated our last staff and his playcalling was wildly inconsistent from game to game. What, however, he did as a primary recruiter and talent evaluator of the quarterback position during his tenure was the best we have seen since the 80s here. While some of our prospects are tbd he was a central guy for Kaaya (stud), Rozier (decent backup and helps Kaaya a lot), unearthing Shireffs who had a great spring, getting young stud Allison to commit, and also getting that initial interest from Perry.

Again I realize most of these guys are tbd and he was a lousy playcaller. Talent wise, however, next years grupo with Kaaya (if he stays), Rozier, shireffs, Allison, perry and Weldon will be our best group in a very long time.

not gonna praise the motherfugga for doing his job. He was paid to recruit, coach, and call plays. doing 1 out of 3 gets you canned. If he would have done it better he might still be here. Fug him

Smh, these are the same idiots who are only a few IQ points short of rolling around in their own fecal matter trying to make "snow" angels.
 
James Coley sucks at everything football. What good is he as a recruiter if he cant coach em up and call smart plays. HB pass in a fuggin snow storm. GTFOH with your praising of him
 
Honestly, Golden poached Coley only to have him sit on the bench for recruiting and/or stole him from FSU because he was kicking our *** so bad on the trail. Either way, both loser mentalities on Goldens part

Coley had his missteps as a OC, like any first timer would, but Golden handcuffed him (2nd half UF game perfect example). Now he's going to do havoc against us at UGA. Already signed Latavious Brini, don't get caught up in BS, Latavious Brini is a stud and he should be a Cane.
 
This is the same ******* that called a halfback pass in a f*****g snowstorm.

a few observations. how do you call THAT play on 1st and 10 with 3:13 left in the 4th quarter? was that his best available play? how many passes has yearby thrown in D-1 competition? or in the snow?

coley sealed his fate that day and it will be Exhibit "A" of any interview he may have in the future as an OC.

seems he could recruit, that is not in dispute, but if keeping him for his recruiting ability means he gets to call plays, then i will "pass".
 
Yes OP, he did one part of his job well which was QB evaluations. Doesn't make up for his failures in the other aspects which are far greater than his QB recruiting
 
If I wipe my butt with a hamburger bun, soak the lettuce in urine, use blood and mucus instead of ketchup and mustard, cut the onion with a rusty knife pulled directly from a Spanish shipwreck, cook the burger in red fuming nitric acid, but the fries are well salted, would you "give me credit where it's due" for a decent meal?

I don't have to be an experienced play caller to know that a hb pass in a snowstorm with the game on the line is an idiotic idea. Or did Golden make him call that play too?
