There has to be someone else we can throw out there so we don't get this kid killed.

yes someone needs to take that pr spot....Thing about it is stacy if he gets a seem actually can house it and he is very dangerous with the ball.

Jaquan Johnson
Trayon Gray
Braxton Berrios

someone in that group need to be on kr/pr

Completely disagree.

If the kid is the playmaker he is supposed to be, then he has to stay on both. The ball needs to be in his hands for him to make plays.

But if we have better players for those jobs, then absolutely!

Aside from that reason, I'm not taking him off those jobs just to save him some hits ...

Between keeping him and Dorsett on kick returns it is even more apparent that our head coach/special teams coach is inept.

What ever happened to Burns and Elder?

Those guys ripped off big returns against VT two seasons ago.

Does Jaquan have the wheels for returns? Agree with Gray and Berrios though. Berrios seems like he could be a beast back there with his short area quickness and burst.

It's not just saving him from getting hit, he's just not very good at it.

The HC/STC is inept ... But having Coley return kicks doesn't prove that point, at all.

Coley averaged 26 yards per return as a freshman ... Who else was giving us those numbers?

Stacy Coley Stats - Miami (FL) Hurricanes - ESPN

Everything Coley did as a freshman was great. As a freshman. Once he got popped in the jaw game one last year he acted like a female the rest of the year. Coaches are supposed to see a player cave and replace them with someone with balls. Both he and Dorsett showed zero ability to be a threat in the return game. After a quarter of the season is played sub those fools out with a playmaker who isn't timid and afraid.

Valid point.

But, to me, that speaks to how much a play-maker the kid actually is.

If he isn't a play-maker, replace him with someone who is. But if he is, you gotta get him the ball as much as possible, IMO.

Berrios needs to be out there.
