It seems as though all of UM teams have struggled with clinching titles as of late. Our teams will often get to a position where they control their own destiny and fold under pressure. You've seen it happen to UM Baseball, UM Football and now UM Basketball. How do we create an environment that keeps our teams focused and not to overlook trap games?

Basketball team suspended Newton, and he would have helped against VT.

I think the team will do fine in the ACC and NCAA tourneys. Doubt we win either, but we should make the finals of the conference and into the Elite 8 of the NCAA.

But this incoming basketball class might be special ... They may have a shot to win some things, IMO.

Football team has lacked championship level for a decade ... But I suspect things are about to change.

As of late? Miami basketball won the ACC regular season and tournament in 2013.

As of late? Yes, as recently as Saturday against VT.

I disagree...
-Basketball is a different beast...along with a really good coach, you NEED at least 1 player that can be a starter in the pro to win the championship over other teams with those players. Next year will be different because Bryce Brown and Dewan Huell are both those types of players out of HS. Final 4 is the floor of our expectations. The success of the team won't rest on the shoulders of Angel Rodriguez anymore.
-Football we already know the root of our evil. Either 1 or 2 things....3 straight failures at the head coach position, or 1 S&C coach (who is most important according to Saban) who made 3 totally different regime's fail. We have a proven HC and a change at S&C to someone who is expected to be better in the strength department (Swasey's specialty was speed when he was an assistant).
-Baseball, we can't beat Florida...everyone else is just as talented as us and we win some and lose some.
