Mario is popular because he is undeniably one of the best recruiters in the nation and is a REALISTIC possibility for us. Success in CFB is almost always related to talent and the acquisition of it. And that’s with out going into his experience watching first hand how the Alabama program was run under Saban and his success at Oregon

Mario loses games he shouldn’t every year. IMO he wouldn’t be any different here. He’s also working with a much bigger pot of money and support up there than he would get here.

@OldhamA and @chrisRMNU, I’m not trying to turn this into a support Mario thread. Just saying I will be watching him this season as I’m sure his name will come up if things go bad for Manny this year. No horse in this race….just interested to see if he could be a viable candidate.
