I read the other thread and there are emotional comments over there but that benching was perfect..here's why

1. First of all the QB looked off his game period.
2. Richt sent a message to the selection committee that this is not the Hurricanes
3 Pitt game did not matter at all...Win or lose, its all about Clemson next week and nobody on this team is above the law...you need to play for the team and at a high level...

Canes will be ready next week big time.....

You couldn’t post this in the other thread? Also your reasoning makes no sense. Sending a message to the committee? Yea I’m sure that’s what he was thinking. Let’s bench the starting QB for the backup who doesn’t even belong at Miami. Brilliant thought process...

Sending a message to the committee would have been beating a 4-7 team with a freshman qb making his 1st start 45-10!
