I’ve got to give Mario credit. I’ve been skeptical and called him out plenty since he became head coach at Miami, especially for how he carries himself on game day. But against Notre Dame, that was by far the most animated and engaged I’ve ever seen him on the sideline
He was talking to players, showing emotion, being present and it makes a huge difference having your head coach set that tone. For years, that energy felt like something we lacked, and seeing him step out of his shell has me genuinely excited for the rest of the year
Go Canes!
