Last year I posted a video of my son's freshman year playing QB on the JV level. The link below is for his sophomore season playing QB at the varsity level. Please feel free to pass on any information you think could help. I know he would love to play on the next level, and as I mentioned it would be a dream come true for him if it was for UM.

What level is the competition? Doesn't seem like he has to make many reads.

His school is 6A, but out of conference we played two 7A teams, and one 8A team.

He's better at throwing kids open than our current QB.....

Thanks guys, I will keep you posted. He learned a lot this season in varsity, and adapted fairly quickly to the speed difference. He still has a lot of work to do, but I hope he will continue to move forward.

I spoke to him about your question. He said in this offense he makes a lot of pre-snap reads, and they concentrate on one half of the field. He tried to add plays that showed his progressions though.

Who is #1 and #11 that always seem to be open?

#1 is Rashad Blunt. This was his Jr season. His father played at Clemson and he has a brother at Middle Tennessee, so there are good bloodlines so to speak. Here is his video http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1376365/
