Besides the obvious, which would be our QB1…. Who would you give the game ball to??

I’m going to give it to that O-line unit! Man did they play their asses off yesterday against an SEC front and kept Cam clean! I believe we had only one holding penalty.

The coaching staff.

My main concern coming in was how prepared we’d be for the environment, the noise, how all the new pieces would jell, especially on offense. Whether we’d have dumb penalties, line up wrong, bobble or miss snaps, etc. All the **** we’ve seen for 20 years, and add a hostile road first game to that mix.

Well, the whole organization shut me the **** up. Everything was flawless. Zero false starts. Zero offsides. No holding calls. No bad snaps. No confusion. Every single kid on the entire team looked calm and prepared.

Just a massive hats off from me to the staff. I’ve watched this program look completely unprepared and overwhelmed for decades now. Not yesterday. The whole team was ready. And they played with confidence. Every coach deserves his flowers today.

When’s the last time Miami played a big game like that and had 2 penalties? Both on DPI, I think. So, aggressive plays. No holding. No false starts on the road in the swamp. No presnap penalties. No 12 men on the field. None of that ****.

****, Florida was the one with the miscommunication on a snap, not us. So refreshing to see really good football players look like they’re prepared for what they’re going to see. That was an A+ operation yesterday.

This. Couldn’t agree more. I’ve got a mouthful of crow for predicting an 8-4 season. From what I saw Saturday, that’s not happening. This looks like Miami football again, and Mario and his staff are making it happen.
