Looks like he’s up to the second highest BA on the team. He’s been one of our best hitters since they benched him for the Marlins Park game.

good weekend but please let’s not get overly excited. running out 2 freshman in acc games is not is not a great recipe for success. 1-2 vs Duke, Tech and UVa and 2-1 vs ND and BC and maybe NC State. Is what I’d expect.

Now for the long term all these outing/innings will be huge. But it also could lead to “give JD one more year because look at the young nucleus” which is absurd but not far fetched.

That is really the sadness in all of this. Big win. Won the series, but at the same time, fear that it will confuse the leadership into ignoring reality and forgetting about being dominated by FIU midweek, and an abysmal year overall.
