I don’t know what point number three means you could’ve just said we haven’t made a super regional in 10 years
I’m rooting like **** for us tonight one because I’m an alum and I can’t root against us and two… the problems of this program go much deeper than the head coach. You guys act like if he was fired tomorrow we would get a better coach. What about this administration has shown that to be the case? If it was the case, I actually think he should be fired if we lose tonight, but if the person they would bring in isn’t clearly better then I’d root for jd because I would rather have the program have success. Reading the tea leaves. It doesn’t seem like we’re investing in Baseball anymore mostly because of NIL and the move to the Big Ten. I think part of the fall of the baseball program is not investing in it as far as facilities and behind the scene stuff I know he has a budget for a bigger staff, but they talked about it on the squeeze play show on ESPN last night they’ll be a lot of programs going forward not investing because it’s more profitable to invest in men’s basketball and football than it is in baseball, especially if you’re in a power conference. Now, if Baseball was the only sport you were trying to be good at that’s a different story but you’re also some would say thinning your booster pool, asking them for NIO money and massive behind the scene support for three sports at once. I think it can be done and it should be done because we’re too good at baseball just to let it go but my point is there’s a bigger issue at play here. So far except for the first thing yesterday this regional has gone the way I thought it would go if we played our best and worst so we’ve seen both sides. I just hope we can come through it tonight and see what happens.
