Had an up and down Saturday:

HIT:
OSU/Purdue over (I have no clue how that bet cashed)
Colorado+17.5
Nebraska ML
Utah-7
Wisky-24
GA Southern-9 (thanks for whoever posted about that one here. Tailed it)

Lost:
UNLV ML
Tenn+28.5
Oregon ML
NC State+17.5
Utah State/over teaser
Huge chalk parlay (just needed Ohio State to get the W for a massive cash. Ugh)

Pushed:
OU/MSU teaser

Came out about even after a sh-t ton of action. LOL

Had a solid profitable day on Sunday. Would have hit for $2,250 more on a big long shot parlay if Dallas had managed to get that W. Heartbreaking to watch that game with such a nice cash on the line.

All in all, not bad, solid in the black.

On to this week...

Just put in these parlays:
App St/Ga Southern over44 (B+3)
Canes ML
TCU-12 (B+2.5)
Texas ML
FSU+20 (B+3)
Navy+26.5 (B+3)
$50 and pays $782. I like it.

ML Chalk parlay:
WVU
TCU
Washington
Oregon
Pays just over even money.

Not sure what straight bets I'll be putting in yet. Good luck this week, gents!

Why are you buying 3 points to numbers like 26.5? I’ll buy to/off a key number like 3 or 7, but that’s it.

I wouldn't have if it was a straight bet and it was costing me more vig (like you, I generally only buy to like a 3 or a 7 or a 10 or sometimes to a 1 even as well). Only reason I did there is because I am still in a hole from two weekend ago's debacle, so I want that parlay to hit much more than I want the higher payout. So for the ones that were over/under or the big spreads I didn't have as much confidence in, I bought it as high as it'd allow me to (+3). I'd be fine with cashing $782, I just want it to cash. I should have only bought the Navy one to +26 though as 26.5 doesn't help me much; should the game end at 26 it would have just pushed that leg, which would be ok too. Probably didn't make a lot of sense, but those three legs I simply increased the odds of it cashing as much as my site would allow me.

Ya boy threw out Ga Southern. They gotta tough one this week against App State, 8 point dawgs.
 
Haven't looked to hard at it but so far I'm looking at:

NC STATE -1 @ Cuse
WASHINGTON ST +3.5 @ Stanford
TEXAS -3 @ Okie State
USC -6.5 vs Arizona State

I'm torn on NC State after last week's performance. Is Clemson that good; or was NC State fools' gold?

I like UT-3 vs Okie St a lot too.
 
Can we talk about the massive shift for the Miami/BC game? Already a 6.5 point shift to Miami -3.5.

That initial line someone posted here was bogus. Well, not bogus, but a dumb offshore line with a real low betting limit. Vegas line has always been about -3 or -3.5 Canes.

Thanks for getting this started. I usually do it at work on Monday but they were bothering me with stuff. Unreal.

My early picks:

BC +3.5 vs Miami. Not that I’m going to put money on this but if I did from an unbiased perspective, it would be on BC. No faith in Rosier or Richt. Away game. “Cold”. If we win I think it’ll be by a Fg.

VT -3 vs GT. Home game for VT and used to the option.

Wisconsin -6.5 at Northwestern. NW looked bad against Rutgers but even before that I think Whisky wins by a TD+.

UGA -7.5 vs UF. I’d buy the half point even though UGA rolls.

Clemson -16.5 at FSU. FSU has looked better in recent weeks but Clemson is Clemson and Francois might die.

Took this champions league parlay:

Bayern -475
Man City -300
Juve PK -130

Took it for 100 to win 190, not the best value but Bayern and City were as close to locks as you can get.

Oklahoma
Of course osu killed that one.

Had to get some get back Sunday and hit on:
Colts
Bucs (smh)

Nice! I really like playing those as it removes the spread from the equation and takes a big upset for them to lose. Like Ohio state on Saturday, unfortunately, which it appears killed several of us on here on an otherwise nice cash. I hit a solid one on NFL as well with saints, rams, vikings, chiefs and falcons. They don't pay massively, but their odds of cashing are relatively high.

It's a straight bet on a winner. No point spread. The payout is determined by the odds. For example, this week's BC game has Miami -170, BC +150 (we are now favored); this means a $170 bet on Miami profits $100 for a $270 payout if they win, whereas a $100 bet on BC would profit $150 for a $250 payout if they win. That same $100 on Miami would profit only about $58 ($158 total).
