I'm fully aware that there isn't any real rhyme or reason for the committee's decisions; we all know they just do whatever they want. However I'd like to strip them from as many excuses as possible for justifying why they have ND in over us.
If Boise state loses their conference championship game I'm curious to know how that would affect ND's SOS since they played them. I would also assume North Texas winning might give us a slight bump since their only loss was to USF.
Also if JMU loses coupled with the loss of Tulane/NT I'm wondering if there's a possibility that Pitt, Louisville or SMU could sneak in at 25 on the final ranking to either give us another ranked win or ranked loss.
I know I'm deep in the weeds here haha just thinking out loud. Thoughts?
