He gave us major credit for the beat down.

Most ACC coaches throw underhanded comments at the U after losses. Dude took it like a man.

Gotta give him props for that.
 
Nothing wrong with what he said in the context. They knew what we were in, we didn’t blitz and still whipped them.

Nah, Xs and Os play a major role in having a successful program.
So does player development, putting players in positions to excell and knowing how
to motivate them throughout a long season.

But, yeah, you still need to have the thoroughbreds and not glue-horses.

I really appreciate a coach like this who shows class, doesn't make excuses, and doesn't sound like a hillbilly that just wandered out of the woods when he talks.

Diaz is a one trick pony.. it just so happens that with our skillset, his one trick is deadly. Fuente seems like a cool dude. Hope he gets a better fit soon.

Probably because he's neither in the triangle schools who hate Miami nor is he really ever recruiting against us like the FSU or Clemson side of the conference.

Plus Mark Richt commands respect, his legacy precedes him and a young guy like Fuente has to look up to a guy like that and the career he's had on the sidelines. That's something that we haven't had here in a long, long, long time.
