And that's not changing until we start winning, and we start getting more and more guys drafted in the first rounds. That's why I thought it was a mistake keeping Golden here past the 2014-2015 season. I mentioned the potential domino effect it could have on the 2016 and 2017 classes.

Richt did an honorable job in saving the 2016 class, but nothing was added to it. Right now, we only have three consensus 4-star recruits, and the others are all 3-stars...not to say that the 3-star guys can't or won't blossom into 4-5 star guys, but if you look at the current rankings, right now we're #7 b/c of the share amount of commits we have...but we have, by far, the most 3 star recruits of the teams that's located in the top 10. This trend has to stop and it won't stop until we win on the field and beat FSU on the field as well.

I'm confident in Richt to win these battles, IF we win on the field.
 
Theyve been big winners and sending kids to the NFL with flash in the 1st round not to mention a very recent natty title..

Im a die hard canes fan but lets be real they are reaping the rewards of a very good recent run by themselves...

Not a big deal...

This staff is trying to be huge with recruiting the tri-county area and this recruiting class isn't very ratings heavy locally.
-Top 3 CB's in the tricounty area (rankings wise) is Trajan Bandy, Marco Wilson, and Christopher Henderson (not counting FSU's legacy in Stanford). Although they are all talented in their own way, none of those guys are top 100 players nationally which is weird for the tri-county area.
-The top ATH in the state of florida is Christopher Henderson (using 247 ratings for all of this), and as mentioned above, he isn't even a top 100 player nationally.
-South Florida sucks at producing OT's which is our second need...We have arguably the best Tackle in the tri-county area. The other 2 Tackles in the state of Florida who are better thank Donaldson were committed before Richt even took the job.
-Someone highly rated is Slaton, who is not as highly thought of by the staff.
-Linebackers in Tri-County are not highly rated, Vandarious Cowan is pretty much the only one and he backed out his silent commit to us because we told him he ain't a LB, he's a Rush End. Tyler Dunning is the next LB in the top 50 of Florida (who isn't from IMG academy) and we know how that is...

I could go on with the reasons, but this isn't simply just 3* stacking like Al Golden...This is grabbing the best players out of a lacking year for the Tri-County.

If NSD comes and we miss out on: Daniel Wright, Amari Carter, Jerry Jeudy, Marco Wilson, Trajan Bandy, Brian Edwards, and other guys that we start going hard at after a solid senior year....Then it's a problem.
 
They own us on and off the field. time to turn it back around, starting with a win at home this year.

Couldn't care less. That program is about to implode regardless. Once we beat them, the wheels come off. Be patient.

we know where our competition is and what they are doing...
we need to just keep our hand to the plow and keep grinding
Not worried about who they get we have proving that if
we execute better then we can still defeat them

Since you posted it, it must be true.

On the other hand, we would've beaten them the last 2 years if it weren't for the NJ rubbish bin coaching...

Let's see how it plays out now that we have varsity coaching....

I already know what the head-to-head looks like when we've had a decent coach (and not on probation)- and FSU isn't anywhere close in the W-L column when we do....

He got McCloud back into the fold. And got Malek Young, Sam Bruce (no way he sticks if golden still here), Richards and Finley at huge positions of need for now and the future. Lastly, he also brought in Dayall Harris who might end up being a contributor this yr especially if mullins doesnt get in.

So I don't think its fair to say he brought no one in. This was also with very little time, mainly w out a staff, and with a poisened program that Golden left for him.

2017 class it is still super early for the relationship building side of things. Some of these guys have been building relationships w other coaches for yrs by now. Of course they would be leaning other places this early still. Byrd went to Tenn because of his butt buddy and because of Larry Scott who he had a great relationship w. Brini is loving GA because he had a relationship with coley and/or beard from when they were at miami. Samuels we all knew we had no shot because of legacy. Wright like Pedro stated isnt a done deal. ***an isnt a done deal. So IF we have a 9-10 win season and can finally rid the stench that Golden left, it will be a whole different ball game come Dec/Jan/Feb.

They recruited this same way in year one u der jimbo with a bad record....i hate hearing there wining thats y. No they got the kids then won thats how u do it
