In TFL allowed with 43 (Oregon State #1 with 44 TFL allowed)

Miami #1 in TFL with 60 ( Michigan #2 with 47)

Get ready,

In the words of the late great mark whipple, that offensive line is going to get raped Saturday @ the Rock

Edit: here's a good one David hale dropped on Twitter--

"37.6% of run plays against Miami have gone for a loss or no gain, best in FBS.

29.6% of FSU's run plays have gone for a loss or no gain, worst in FBS.

(Not counting sacks)"

Their offensive line is just miserable, how does a school with top 5 recruiting classes turn into this?

Again, there's no reason why Miami shouldn't win this game by at least TWENTY POINTS! And the above stat' alludes to this fact.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's a bitter rivalry game and all that. So what!

I hope ur right, I feel like we are going to feast on the OL, BUT, just knowing the history of these two teams and the type of dog fight we have had for the past 30 years with FSU scares me. GO CANES I_I !!!

Just don't turn the ball over in stupid positions and we should roll. No reason to give them any semblance of hope the entire 60 mins. Just roll their a$$!

On paper, we win, but remember, this is a rivalry. Remember, our 2014 team led by Al should have beaten an FSU playoff team led by Jameis. Remember in 2015 we went into Doak weeks before Al got fired and should have beaten an FSU team that won 10 games and went to the Peach Bowl.

Precedence will be a " broken arrow " this Saturday. Because Miami will handily cover and comfortably win by DOUBLE-DIGITS!

FSU also had a mighty 3 TFL against SAMFORD. I'm VERY comfortable knowing Perry will have plenty of time to make decisions in his 3rd game

Samford is also 1-4 with their only win over a D-II team. Not even an FCS team. So, there's that.

Yep that's what I was getting at

I am truly fascinated how FSU can be so bad with all these highly rated recruits. It's astonishing

Yeah, I was just adding that. I just looked up Samford's schedule. Didn't realize they were that bad too.

We have a qb making just his second start. That's going to happen. It's up to Richt to have some go to plays that are not high risk as we get down near the redzone so we can finish drives with touchdowns and not field goals. A quality win here will go a long way in developing his confidence.

I expect a turnover or 2 I am talking about the dumb one that you should either throw it in the stands or take the sack and punt and play D. Don't compound the bad.

We need to be living in their backfield all day. Don't give Akers or Patrick a chance to get going and crush Frenchie.

Could very likely end up being a tough game. However, one thing to keep in mind is FSU's play calling. Jimbo was/is a great play caller. He seemingly always called the right play at the right time and made great halftime adjustments. That's gone. We SHOULD have the upper hand from a coaching perspective in this match up.

Willie Wonka said today that the team is "excited" especially about their win on Sat after being down 21-7 to LVille. They will be ready.

The key here is Golden was the HC.

Stats doesn't matter in rivalries like this. We use to have 90th ranked defenses with corch Golden and No'D going up against FSU and still kept things close.
