Gore to the Bills on a one year contract. The fact this was a guy with serious injury issues since he was young, makes it downright jaw dropping what he has achieved in the league. I'd think he'll probably pass Barry into #3 this year. Incredible! One of the all time great Canes.

Needs 522 to pass Barry. Will be difficult. Hope he passes him. Are they keeping Shady?

While I don’t think he will gain the necessary yardage to surpass Sanders, I think Frank remains a well thought of RB who is tough and can get you the yards when needed.

I dunno, man, 522yds seems doable. Obviously that'll depend on how much burn he gets with Shady still there as well as Ivory. But we're talking less than 35yds per game if he stays healthy and were to play in every one. As long as he isn't 100% a backup and doesn't get the rock, and especially if he plays a second year there, I think he absolutely gets there.

If Gore had Harbaugh for his 1st 6 yrs, he might be nipping at Sweetness heels. Frank had some **** poor 9er teams, where the opposition knew where the ball was going, yet he still did damage.

It’s hard to say a top 4 RB in yardage is underrated, but man Frank is underrated. He got snubbed from at least 2 pro bowls I vividly recall, and that’s b/c the 9ers stunk.

It was bitter sweet to see him lose the SB, b/c I wanted ER20 to get his ring and RL52 to leave on top, but was hoping all that misery in SF would finally lead to a ring, and Balke and York do what they’ve always done to the SF fan base since taking over at that time, ***** them and the players.

Hoping he passes Barry just b/c the dude has been a model on & off the field

He ran for 722 as part of a committee in Miami so I think he'll be able to get enough to pass Sanders this year.

But that committee didn’t have Shady McCoy. Bills may get rid of Shady, who knows. Either way, remarkable career and lock for the Hall

He’s like Curtis Martin when it comes to being underrated. 2 quiet dudes just putting up #s every year

Was just talking about Gore an hour ago with a co-worker.

What he's done throughout his career is flat-out unbelievable. Yet he's seldom regarded as one of the GOATs. Absurd.

Gore, and Andre Johnson, suffered on average-to-poor teams most of their careers. Gore at least got to play in one Super Bowl.

Interesting question. Gore has more remaining than McCoy, IMO, at least based on last year.

As soon as I heard about this signing I was thinking about how soft McCoy looked while trying to run inside last year. The Bills undoubtedly wanted to change that dynamic. If they can get 4-5 yards on first down it really cleanses things for a less accurate type like Josh Allen.

The Dolphins are rebuilding and need to know what they have in Drake and Ballage. Keeping soon-to-be 36 year-old Frank Gore around is counterproductive to that.

If Ballage breaks out, great. If not, that's also great because you're trying to tank. If Gore gets another 700 yards, that really doesn't help Miami's plan because he is playing out the string. One of the all-time greats, yes. But at this point in his career he is not what the Dolphins need.
