Former Pittsburgh defensive tackle Francis Brewu tells InsideTheU that he's been in contact with the Hurricanes and has a visit set up late next week with the program. Indiana is scheduled to host this coming weekend.

The 6-foot-1, 280-pounder was a full-time starter for the Panthers in 2025, totaling 484 snaps, seven tackles for loss, and one sack. According to Pro Football Focus, Brewu generated 20 quarterback pressures this season.

Played very well his FR year, was hurt this year IIRC, he barely made it to our game vs them.

He’d be an upgrade over Simpson. Hope IU doesn’t get him to shut it down with him visiting there, also really like that they are after him too.
