Here's an excerpt from a Scout.com interview with four-star CB Ykili Ross (Riverside, CA), who's currently viewed as a heavy USC lean and plans to announce his commitment at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

“I’m going to Oklahoma for the Tennessee game (9/13), to Miami for the Florida State game (11/15) and to Notre Dame for the Stanford game (10/4),” said Ross. “I’ll probably just take a lot of unofficials to USC and UCLA and go to a bunch of their home games. So I’ll leave the last two visits open.”

Ross says USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and UCLA are the schools currently recruiting him the hardest, with Miami in the next tier. He says Miami and Notre Dame are recruiting him as a cornerback whereas most other schools view him as an ATH.

We probably have no shot at this kid, but the official visit is worth noting.

Would be a great pull, him coming to the FSU game will probably not help though.

Cant hurt, once he gets on campus and get the 5-star treatment, it may be enough to at least get us a hat on the table lol.

not good when he says he is coming to miami for the FSU game....we would like him to come down here for the UM game!

It's legitimate to say no chance for a Cali kid, but you don't know if a kid may legitimately want to play here. Get'em all on campus and make your pitch like everybody else.

FSU is on upset alert November 15th

If we have legit qb play then **** yeah

I think we have a legit chance at beating FSU. Ryan should be back by that game if another QB hasn't stepped up by then, plus Duke Johnson will officially win the Heisman that day in my opinion. November 15 should be the greatest day of Duke's college career after the way he was taking it to FSU last year before his injury.
