Gobble gobble ****. Golden has never beaten any team worth ****. Prepare for the excuses after the game. While VT dink and dunk their way to 500 yards of offense. The retarded QB move back into Heisman contention and their OC gets an extension.

...all while you wear the Hokies thongs?

I wince at the thought of some of those Hokie women from Western VA, wearing thongs

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Apparently the biggest market for Hokies women's thongs are male UM "fans" thinking they are making a point by cheering for the opposing team.

I want Golden out, but I'll never root against the Canes. That's just a ***** move from ***** fans.

Thats your opinion. All of us want whats best for our team, we just show it in different ways. I want Al Golden gone at any cost and every win makes that more unlikely. For those of you who want to give him another year or 2 you guys are just delaying the inevitable. The guy is a fraud coach, one of the worst ive ever seen. And whether its this year or next the guy will be fired.

so you want golden out, but you want him to win games and not get fired? and you want him to continue to ruin these kids careers who the rest of us supposedly "dont support." and we're the "sh** fans" because we want this great depression to be over as soon as possible?

for example, the duke game was pretty close, they easily could have beaten us if it wasn't downpouring raining and their qb didnt have the worst game of all time. instead, we scraped away a win while looking seriously mediocre and got that all important "W", which accomplished what? if we had lost that game, we'd be one loss closer to sending these clowns packing.

it's not like we're watching these games ecstatic we're losing. it's still infuriating. why hope we can salvage a 7-5 season to buy our staff another year or two? and lets say we beat VT, lose to FSU, maybe drop 1 more game, retain al golden, and then 5 games into next season we're 3-2 again. will you still be rooting for the canes because "ill never root against the canes!" as if that makes you a better fan than the rest of us?

my ideal situation is kaaya continuing to get better and better, with our defense just completely sucking against VT and every game here on out, and we lose enough games that golden is fired (not just donofrio). have fun hoping we win the most pathetic division in any conference in the country only to be let down

Yes, wins is always what we want. (By "we" I mean a large majority of Cane fans.)

Its pretty simple. We're not Golden fans, we're Cane fans. If Canes roll 3, 4, 5 victories in a row under Golden, so be it. That's a good thing.

Do we want road wins? Yes. Do we want our defense to play better and stop opposing teams? Yes. Do we want to convert more third downs on offense? Yes. Can we get there with Golden? To be determined but we're not quitting on this team.

see i have no problem with fans who want us to win if you believe theres still a chance golden can be the guy to bring us back to prominence. i disagree with you, but i understand where you're coming from. but if you think, like all of those who you are criticizing and belittling and implying we are not fans like you, that golden is nothing more than mediocre, that he cant develop players, and that he constantly gets outcoached because he has no clue what he's doing, and you still want the canes to roll 3, 4, 5 victories with golden, against some really pathetic competition (save for fsu), then that makes no sense to me at all.

if golden turns things around, and coach d actually winds up being an amazing coach, and i am dead wrong, then ill be so happy to have been wrong. but every single piece of evidence and logical reasoning points to the contrary. i just dont think that's a possibility, so i hope we lose consecutive games until golden is fired.
