Tonights update will be the biggest in the last three years. The forum will be unavailable for several hours once we start. The updates are mainly backend updates but there will be noticeable changes in search and how links are handled.

And by "update" do you mean one of your 9 Rings of **** "improvements" that will bring us, your loyal users of CIS, nothing but sheer pain and agony?

I kind dig your untamed cruelty towards us, don't get me wrong here...

Something bad’s going to happen. bAndrew loves making us suffer as he tinkers with perfection.

Do you mind if I ask what the update/s are/were?

Most of it is under the hood changes that will help bridge Xenforo 2.2 to the 3.0, which comes out next year.

In 2.3 you will see:
- image optimization on upload and conversion to webp format
- improved seo and compatibility with Google forum schema
- overall improved CSS/JS and better lighthouse scores
- Auto complete on search when typing (this is a bit broken but should be fixed soon)
- Support for Passkey and passwordless login
- Support for OAuth2 and webhooks (automation)

Thanks. Although most of that is Greek to me, I appreciate your response and also your upkeep on the site.

Something definitely changed with the dark theme and the borders to things. Looks weird.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I am not sure why the update would change our style. There is much better support for style variants in 2.3 that we are not ready to support.
