i'm watching utah and other less talented teams play and id do anything just to have a disciplined hard nosed team that plays physical ... keep the rings, the jewelry and all that other stuff ... show up consistently and compete ... if we somehow could do that the rest would take care of itself

that is all

1. Utah doesn't have the access to the same type of talent in the skill positions as Miami does. Can you imagine TVD and our young WR in that offense? What a waste.
2. With our situation in the trenches it will take 2/3 years and elite OL recruiting to successfully play that kind of football. We, as fans, are willing to wait? My answer is no.

Have to recruit the hogs up front to play that way. Mario specializes in that.

who said i want their offense ... i want the toughness, saw it during the oregon game and now i'm watching it during the osu game, these guys come to fight and play hard ... as i said if we do that, everything else will take care of itself

They target guys they know they can get and do great evaluations. Us we eval good to but when we target guys they go to the elites and we are left at the table looking for basically bums. Cause the kids we target elite schools target. Does play calling help? Yea but they hit on their guys. Utah one of those programs good then bad then good then bad. Harbaugh was one of those coaches his OLmimmediatoey played well wherever he was but they ran into elite and high developed NFL players and got squashed. Utah is good but OSU doesn't look the same as well. But still good finds by Utah and great development. It's a mixture of alot of things
 
The team never quit and competed every game, your take is wrong.
QP’s with their hot takes during bowl season are the best hot takes.

Takes time.

It's the cycle and evolution of a team. You start with air raid if you don't have the physical presence in the front 6 or on OL, to make up for with putting athletes in space and getting the ball out quick relying on QB runs, etc. As you get successful, you recruit better and bigger players and you can then begin running the ball in more traditional style.

An example is, you start as a Texas Tech team, evolve to a more balanced team offensively like honestly, Utah or Oregon, then you eventually as you keep the talent coming, assuming you continue an ascent of success, you can do what Alabama, and Georgia does, runs every okay if they actually want to.
 
Laughable !! We got MC for all this toughness and the prime ex is Utes who dominated twice who?? MCs signature team …. Now we want to be like the stick figure u??? It’s going 2 b a loooong offseason.

Oh, you’ve got better things to do than wait around while our team spends 2-3 years getting to 11 wins and a major bowl? Other than force out another coach and endure more misery, what pray tell would you rather do?
