Forcing out

Coaches generally let kids know they are not part of their plans and that they won't play in games and that their focus in practice are the kids that will play. Kids get the message and generally decide to leave on their own with no interference from the HC.

Hurts my heart to do this but....

Langham
D mani Jones
OL from Tallahassee
Mahoney
Grimsley
Ja hair Jones
Earl sweatshirt Moore
Jelani Hamilton

Lbs and DB's are safe for now but yall know we need help

Terry McCray Ryan Mayes

Basically anybody that's content holding a water bottle needs to go. We need savages competing to play. Working hard for that pay check at the next level.

As some would say... no more coal shovelers

Talking about Loftus? I think we should keep him just for the coin toss to intimidate the other team

You can add some ol and like one of those te and few te who keep getting oases up in depth . Maybe an x qb who is in this roster for nothing

Yeah that's his name. The days of us intimidating other teams been dead for a while. No more projects more players ready to play now.

I dont believe the 85 is an issue, and we can only sign 25, so I dont think as many players are let go as this thread speculates. You still need bodies for practice and depth.

85 is definitely an issue. Players need to be pushed out.

The attrition list.
Things could get really interesting now that Smart can't officially take the UGA job till January and UGA's recruits hung out to dry. Depending on how much momentum we're riding on in January we could be adding quite a few studs from UGA and previous kids who had interest in UM but were never serious about committing to the old staff. This thread is not intended to bash any UM players or commits but changes are inevitable.

On Roster
CB Ryan Mayes - Will not be cut imo, still room to improve and the depth chart is too thin at CB to cut this year. Never high on this kid.
TE Jake O'Donnel - Buried on the depth chart, 2 incoming TE's and Nauta possibly in play
OL Jahair Jones- Will not see the field for Miami barring catastrophe, likely candidate.
LB Mike Smith- Too slow for LB, Only saving grace is depth issues at LB
LB Terry MCcray- Too slow for LB, Only saving grace is depth issues at LB
DL Jelani Hamilton-Congratulations on your degree.
WR D'Mauri Jones- Too many underperforming "large" wr. Someone has to go and he's the oldest.
DL Earl Moore- Congratulations on your degree.
DT Fines- Not high on this kid but it would be a bad look to cut someone from IMG after 1 year.

Committed but lower on the totem pole of rankings
DE Jaquwan Nelson- I don't know enough about him to comment on his skill set but if Bethel and or Uche commits we are loaded at DE.
WR Reginald Henderson- Another raw large WR, I could see him falling off if we close on others like Victor, Hardman, Richards, Young
RB Jawon Hamilton- Love this kids tape and the fact he committed when we had no HC makes me like him more.

Targets who could shake things up
TE Nauta- Hard to see us landing 3 TE's but this kid is unguardable.
QB Eason- What would this mean for Allison, Shirreffs, Rosier? Something has to give.
RB Fils Aime/Any of the GA RB's committed. I can't see us taking 3 RBs but either of these two could unseat Jawon.
ATH Hardman, If he's coming as a WR this will have an effect on attrition and recruting.

Biggest Needs
DT GIVE ME ALL THE DT'S
OL (Day 1 contributors only)
CB Upgrade wiggins or sign 4
LB no explanation needed. 4 minimum this class.
P Off sholarship please, the only reason i'll miss Golden. He could find punters.

We get another good rb i see Gus leaving

O'Donnell should have his Degree
Langham- possible transfer, won't get much playing time
Mayes- if we get the right guys (i.e. mullen) very good transfer candidate
Gall- believe he is a 4th year Junior. Could be grad transferring.
Knighton- might just retire

Why not? Can you break it down (roster) vs EEs last year and prospective EEs this year? It should be a math problem that you calculate based on those variables.
