You actually think so? I just think it warms up his seat. But who knows. I mean how many coaches can they go through. Personally, I think he’s a weird dude. But I don’t know how he stands with their people.
 
Good, all the good games (I care about anyway) are on before I have to go watch the grandkids trick or treat!
 
Herman’s buyout is insane but boosters here will pay. He’s staring 6-4/5-5 in the face and losing the number one QB in the country is horrible optics, especially since it gave him some runway to continue selling hope.

It seems like wheels are turning behind the scenes. Of course the big talk is Urban Meyer. It reminds me of USC last season and the belief that Urban was going to save them....

IDK who the backup plan is - Herman's buyout is $15 million and the current staff is $9 million if they all get fired. I saw some stuff yesterday that one rumor going around is Herman will be "reassigned" to somewhere else in the Athletic Dept. and Drayton will act as interim until the end of the season. If Herman stays past Dec 1, the buyout drops $5 million. If he refuses the "reassignment" and resigns they aren't liable for the buyout.

The alternative is they keep him until the end of this season and then get rid of him. Seems like cutting lose is just a matter of time...
