We must get better on 3D offense and defense. We cannot sustain any offensive drives, its either feast or famine. Tackle and hold onto the football.
Objectively this season the offense is worse than the defense. The offense has not shown up in any big game this year. The QB sucks on 3D and cannot throw screens, slants, flares, or anywhere into the middle of the field.
Same thing on defense, linebackers cant cover and the safety play is horrible. We do not have a DE who can rush the passer and play every down so we cant generate any pass rush without blitzing. 3rd down is to0 predictable when you bring in 2 young DEs who just rush the passer and are not diagnosing plays like the passes in the flats.
I like the class we are bringing in at LD and D-Line. The QB play should be better with either Kaaya or Olsen. I wish every player well but I would like upgrades for 17, 30, 31, and 59. 51 is stout against the run but cannot rush the passer which is a problem.
Play hard the rest of the way is all that I ask. I think the future looks bright.
