Great minds my guy; I have all of The Gatorade J’s except the purples. These r the Gatorade Orange 1’s which match the Orange Hurricane lettering white sweater I have. I have the same 6’s u have, but my homegirl spilt her Starbucks tea on them by accident (Thank god I had them sprayed w/ the protectant or they would’ve been hella ruined vs. dirty). They’re at my shoe guy spot to be restored now.

Yeah man; met him on accident at the beach. He was complimenting me on these rare J’s I have (that went up 10x more than I paid). He was like if u ever need them refinished or anything hit me up. Took some Dub Zero J’s that were completely thrashed, & my guy brought them back to life. I only use him for major things, b/c for the most part, I keep all my kicks looking new w/ the supplies I have.

Make sure u get the suede/nubuck protectant if u don’t already have some.

I got that Reshoevenator that you mentioned, but maybe that's not for suede?
 
Ok fellas im going to tell ya something so dont get jealous. lol . Im close friends with Shaqs cousin Derick. Bro he has a walk in closet which really is more like a dam spare bed room thats filled with Nike shoes. Talking like 1000's of shoes. Its crazy. if only he was a few sizes bigger id have a nice collection but hes like a size 11 and im like 13/14 in nike.

Yeah man; I thought I was a shoe collector but one of my of best friends is Baron Davis’ cousins. Saw his collection & was greatly humbled. Lol. I think I’m up to about 200 more or less, and I want to say maybe 50% of them r shoes from back in high school that I just kept in incredible condition, boxes & all.

I learned at a very young age, the key to keeping shoes pristine is cleaning the bottoms. My friends & ex wife used to look at me crazy for cleaning my shoe bottoms after each wear, but then they saw chit I had in the 11th grade still looking brand new. Keeping those soles clean preserves the life of the shoe, & keeps those mid soles from getting grimey & discolored. I have ice bottom J’s that r still ice blue in color vs. dingy yellow or tarnished like most.

GOAT status if u have these, fr fr. Ninjas were rioting over this shoe. Resale is absolutely bananas. I literally tried to back door my way to these joints like I did some other pairs I have, & was a hard no. Lol. My boy couldn’t even get these. Both these & win Nike re-released the Hurricane Air Barrage for the SB sold out way too fast & the resale was crazy.

I’m STILL on the hunt for Andre Johnson’s custom Miami Hurricane Jordan 11’s. I found one cat who had a pair, but it’s way too small. **** near girl size, looking for $500! SMH.

Truth be told, the new Jordans 31-36, r exponentially more comfortable than the famed early models. The newer models r more geared towards balling. His older models r more street wear. I tried to ball in several J’s on the hardwood & my small toe kept getting rubbed. Very uncomfortable; then I found out u have to have the insoles w/ them for balling.

The idea behind his shoe was cool for the courts, but even cooler for the streets. That’s y LBJ & these other guys will never out sell J’s b/c their shoes, like their predecessor, are geared towards b-ball/athletics. Jordans were the first athletic sneaker where u could wear on the courts, but look even cooler w/ them off the courts.

I copped them last year after a promotion at work. Most I've ever spent on a pair, but they were a grail and they came down a little in price. I was featured on Dyme Lyfe's page in em with the Zubaz shorts they released.
