**** there’s a few; DE Stud Cameron Wake who was undrafted, Doug Floutie, Joe Thiesman,QB Jeff Garcia, wr Joe Horn even Ricky Williams after coming back from smoking pot when nobody wanted to take a chance on him played for the CFL and balled and then the Dolphins nabbed him again lolSad ****. But they have the Canadian football league to go and develop. And concerning our boys RJ and Norton I hope they get the results they want.
The CFL, how many make the move to the NFL these days?
Warren Moon, he did it and at a high level. I don't follow the NFL much these days, but he's the biggest name I recall. Surely there are others, but who are they?
You're talking about 5 or 6 guys over a 40 year period. Yes, there's an occasional CFL star that makes the transition to the NFL but 95% of them never sniff the league. The CFL is what it is. A place for guys who just aren't NFL material to continue their football careers, even if the pay is really low for a majority of the players. The game is a different there so guys who succeed in the more wide-open, 3 down CFL often don't translate to the NFL.
