This is the same team we were two weeks ago when we were 7-0 and everyone was praising "The Don". Our D has been the same D all year long, just playing UF who has no offense disguised things. We let teams move up and down there field and hope they make mistakes, turn the ball over or we hold them to a FG in the Red Zone. I am not a believe in Corch D and his scheme on D. For us to be successful with him here we are going to need a front four that can terrorize teams all game long and we are very far away from that.
Saying all that anyone who thought we were a top 10 team was fooling themselves. We are playing 10 scholarships down, have guys who were not cutting it at other schools counting in our scholarship totals (ie Renfrow) and now we are without two of our most explosive players on offense. Until we get back to dominating in the trenches and letting our athletes make big plays, this is who we are. I am not sure how far away we are but we are closer to Wake Forest and UNC, than we are a top 10 team right now. All that can change with a few freaks on D and a consistent QB, but as of today... WE ARE WHO WE ALL THOUGHT WE WERE.
