Because he is not a position coach. He does not coach technique. Al Golden says "hey, make this guy fat"...well Swasey has to do it.

LOLOLOLOLOL this is the DUMBEST thing I've ever read on any site in the history of message boards.

So what does he do? The guy spends more time with the players than any coach. He is chiefly responsible for the conditioning of the team. Every coach from Saban to Urban to Jimbo has stressed that the S&C position is the single most important on staff.

I thought the DL played pretty well at times throughout the game. I don't know anything about technique, but I didn't think they lost steam as the game went on. The OL just sucks all around.
