I said in other post if Bama loses, than committee should be forced to drop Bama (3 losses) or if they feel convicted to keep them since they went to SECCG, than OU needs to walk the plank since their resume win is over a 3 loss Alabama team, which isnt that great.

Of course, saying that way means the SEC will be on the phone and ensure a tight win for Bama. And knowing our luck, BYU will beat Texas Tech.
 
This is why every year I get ****ed hearing people say things like "oh the rankings don't matter till the cfp" it all matters for perception and for "objective" rankings that aren't really objective because the parameters are set by humans with agendas. Tenn is giving 4 teams a "ranked win" and hasn't beaten a team with a winning record... that's insane... SMU and Lville would absolutely still be ranked if they were in the sec.

Bama, lost to this putrid offense and got destroyed by fsu. If anyone is at risk to being left out, it’s bama. My hope is that uga wins by 2-3 scores - a 3 loss team coming off a bad loss will be a bad look for the cfp

Exactly. A 3-loss team should be eliminated from the top 10. If they lose to aUGA they should be and probably will be out.
 
The other precedent that they set with "teams can't drop for losing the conference title game" is also b.s. it'd be one thing if the two best teams were always playing for the conference but the ACC clearly shows that's not the case with unbalanced schedules. So who the **** cares if it's an extra game, half the time it's one of the few times that school plays another legit opponent, if they **** the bed then they should be punished for it.
