I'm of the opinion that coaches should only send lists of players they have actually coached, but some kids eat this stuff up.

Don't understand how a school putting RBs in the league 15 years ago affects the kids when the coaches aren't the same (except Kehoe somehow). Muschamp is really reaching. At least Golden can put Miller and James on his list.

I think I remember that Emmitt dude. Didn't he play with Playmaker and Mike made him an honorary Cane cause he was so embarrassed about being a gator? Oh, and he was on that dancing show too. If has been some time since the gator had a rb if you are using someone who does hair dye commercials.
 
So much fail in that pathetic letter. You guys are all focusing on the hilarious name-drop of 2 ancient backs (and rightfully so) but what about the lame-*** hashtags on a hand-written note? Did an adult actually write "#ChompChomp" to a high school kid? What's with the blue marker too or the pristine signature? SMH
 
In the last 15 years from 1999 – 2013 Miami had:
19 RB/FB play in the NFL
9 were drafted, 10 were Free Agents
9 were one time starters
5 were drafted in the first 3 rounds (James, Jackson, Portis, McGahee, Gore)
4 started on NFL Teams last year (Gore, McGahee, Miller, James)
4 Pro Bowlers (James, Portis, McGahee, Gore)
2 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Years (James, Portis)

In 12 of the last 15 Pro Bowls at least one running back from the “U” was on the roster. (James x4, Portis x2, McGahee x2, Gore x5)

Yes an adult wrote it, either the Director or recruiting who is known to do these things or one the many people in the recruiting office. We (UF) are getting everybody with this strategy besides Cronkrite Miami can keep him.
