  • We have a fiery staff. This is amazing.

I am so excited about what we have moving forward. It sucks we lost, but the Gators felt the Canes and they know they lucked out.

It's the first game of the year in a rivalry game. Most teams are tuning up with cupcakes for a reason. I expect a lot of growth with this squad.
 
Realistically this is not a playoff team. Besides we all know there is no NCAA committee going to put a one loss Canes team in any playoff! They hate us! Lol

Dang proud of the fight and can see the fire and potential!
 
You cannot discount the learning curve on all fronts from this game. Players and coaches needed a hard dose of reality on what we have. I have faith that Manny, Dan Enos and Baker will make the necessary adjustments.

I also believe that the players who f'd up either on the field with mental errors or before the game with stupid sh*t will get that cleaned up for UNC.

this team has a HEART and showed a lot of fight. Let's see if that comes with them to UNC.

Anyone with playoffs or bust expectations for this squad were delusional from jump. Thought 10-2 was a good bet and that's still very achievable.

UF tried to gift wrap the game with their undisciplined play, but Miami reached down into its stupidity reserves and showed UF that no one can match our ability to shoot ourselves in the foot. ACC generally has intelligent, disciplined teams. Those teams won't hand victories to Miami like Florida almost did.

Agreed...you can’t expect everything to change in the first year. These in all honesty are not players recruited for this coaching staff. A 9 or 10 win season is a nice step in the right direction. They will figure it out. **** they are still college kids!
