FLIPS

Looking at the composite, we've only got 1 commitment from the top 20 players in Florida. Last year we signed 2 of the top 20. In 2024 we signed 6.

Cantwell
Charles
Waters (if they hang on)
Mallory

Those 4 will make quick impacts - the rest to me will take time and in this era that means you have to keep them every year.

Let’s be careful now, we are now starting to sound like the “gator flip”

But are we really relying on flips or wanting to add? On 247 our 26 class is rated 265.27. this is already higher than 25 class 257.66. I don’t mind going after flips were in a decent spot already to make this a top class it’s the only thing we can do.

kids commit early now, game is different. Top uncommitted play on 247 is 149, after that 160 Milan Paris who’s a flip technically but we’re in a really good spot to get him. then it’s 228.

i hope you have a financial advisor.

$1m nil -$100k paid at verbal
$1.1m nil from Miami- $200k paid at signing

Ummm $1.1m>$1m, yes they have to pay back the other school but that doesn’t change how much they make. It just impacts cash available if they have already ****ed away the $100k
If the kid already spent the money he will have to sell the things he already bought, and the things he bought would have depreciated in value. This erodes the NIL advantage in that offer. I hope you have a financial advisor.

LOL- you still need math help. Unless the NIL deal is LESS than the first one, he comes out ahead and doesn't have to sell his bad purchases.

I've done pretty well for myself in the FinTech and Ecom space. You are coming at it from a pure cashflow POV.
