I forgot how ugly this game was, I hope Guidry revisited their approach to dealing with misdirection

It would definitely be my Plan A to use against Miami, especially given Mertz.

But I don't think this front seven will be outmaneuvered like last season's front seven. Mesidor, Kelly and Taylor were all out with injury. We were playing Bain, JHH, Harvey, Chantz, Deen, Lichtenstein and Gore up front. At LB, we were playing Kiko at MLB and rotating in Wes, Cloyd, Flagg. Wes had a terrible game, as did those other two. Guidry was trying to dial up blitzes to cover our holes, and that ended up exposing us especially in the second half.

Perfect storm of injury and ineptitude. And we still could have won if we converted 1st and goal at the 4 yard line. I just don't see that happening vs. UF.

Im pretty sure napier gameplan will have similarities to this, and we struggled with tempo alot last year so id expect that as well
