Every single senior we had(besides Diego Marquez. Walk on?) was a huge asset to the team. Thomas, Moten, Herndon, Harris, Delaney, Berrios, and Badgley will all be greatly missed. McDermot and Darling may not have been amazing, but we wouldn't have been where we are without them. I really don't remember the last time I could say this. It must have been Pre Radio era.

Agreed. Plenty of guys have graduated from the U over the last decade without accomplishing anything on the field. Big hats off to this crew for balling out.

To play devil's advocate, it seems possible that guys that might have graduated with this class without contributing on the field instead transferred out of the program since Richt took over. Not uncommon for lots of underachieving players to get out of town when a new sheriff roles in.

He absolutley trimmed a lot of fat(we only had about 10 seniors), but at least they didnt take up any wasted space in this graduating class. ITs honestly a breath of fresh air.
 
A great group of Canes graduates. Just not enough of them. Hopefully we'll be much better balanced across classes in the years to come.

Out of all the Sr classes we have had over the years, some great, some good and some just okay..and some really bad..if you had told me this group would be the one to lead us to the ACC title game for the first time I would have lost my house. They can come back to the football reunions and have something to brag about. Can’t take this away from them ever. Props to them.

Very true. Most of those years, when they'd call out the players before the game, they were almost all guys who had seen very little to no playing time. This past year's list was full of contributors.
