While I think this tweet is made up garbage, we all know CFB is cyclical and so the mighty bama dynasty will inevitably end. While it won't be a sudden light switch, I had a feeling Monday night that we may have been witnessing the very first step in that direction. Saban looked old and frustrated and looked like a defeated man to me for the first time ever. In stark contrast, Dabo and his boys absolutely dominated them in every aspect and looked pumped up and having fun. Many bama players showed no fire at all. The entire team looked like they had quit in the 4th quarter. They looked simply outmatched. The aura of absolute dominance that has been bama this last decade seemed to be waning for the first time (felt different from clemsons first win over them). That aura of invincibility has been a big part of what has continued to fuel them at the highest level.

Of course, bama has 5 stars backing up 5 stars who are backed up by other 5 stars. So who knows, maybe they just go right back to it next year and for years to come. Thats possible too. But like someone said, losing puts a highlight on the cracks, and I wouldnt be surprised if we look back in a few years and see Monday night as the moment where the continual up on the cycle first began reversing direction. Similar to what happened to us in 2002 champ game.

This. Bama has gone from unstoppable to this being the first little crack. All sports are cylical and eventually Bama's time will end. They will be good for a while still, because they are so ******* deep. But the pinnacle of their dynasty has def been reached

I agree with the Najee stuff, Jacobs and D Harris are much better backs, I couldn’t understand why Najee was getting all those carries last night

One of my client's is Jim Harbaugh's little cousin. When Harbaugh came down to visit Najee, that was the last game I went to, and I sat w/ the Harbaugh family (the extended family). So my client goes, "yeah my cousin has a hard on for this back." A couple of minutes later, Najee scores an impressive TD, so my client goes, "dude is the biggest guy on the field, wtf??! He's not even that fast!" A couple of minutes later, my client goes, "I have no idea why Jim's out here. Every time dude gets stopped, he stares down his OL. He's not that great; he got little white kids who should be working at Denny's stopping him."

I told my co-worker who knows Najee's father's, that he was not that impressive. I told him he's just bigger than everyone, but I feel when he gets to the next level, he's going to struggle.

Najee getting all those carries against Clemson was a crime. D Harris and Jacobs are 3x the back Najee is, imo.

Yeah I'm not buying that the players quit and purposely threw the national championship game (but not the previous 14) like some of those bullets suggested.

If a team source really said that then he is just a sore loser and can't accept that Clemson are just the better team. The fact that the defense got wrecked is not because the defenders quit on the team in the most important game of the season, but because they were just simply dominated and by the end of the game gave up.

They don't have to be mutually exclusive. Yes Clemson was the better team and had a brilliant game plan but all the friction and toxicity in the Bama locker room most certainly was a factor.
