Makes total sense since the decision to fire Al and company is completely in his hands.

I used to think a good many of the posters were smarter than this, but it's blatantly apparent that's not the case.

Oh, Blake said this or that, again you should all be smarter than that as should he. He doesn't need to say anything, but if he didn't you would be on him about that. He's in a no win situation with his hands tied, but have at it.

Most fans are in fantasy land where contractual obligations are unknown, but still a reality. We don't know those specifics and it's easy to say fire everyone without all the information. After all, that's what people do all the time on these sites....talk out their *** without knowing what goes on behind closed doors. ****, even when talking about a game or play, there's all kinds of experts (Im their own minds) giving opinions without a clue of what they're talking about as shown daily here.

Al needs to go, no question about it. Obviously last year he had us by the balls due to his contract and hopefully that's not the case anymore. Firing him after a likely loss to Clemson could cost us a lot more money than waiting until the end of the year, who knows.

Blake, hire Butch or GTFO.

If we're holding on to Al Golden because of a few million dollars of buyout money, then just shut the whole thing down. Because many alums and fans are about to be at the point of no return. I graduated from UM and did not miss a home game from 1990-2007.

Now? I haven't seen a single snap since the 4th quarter of the Cincinnati game and have attended two games in the last five years.

If we keep Al Golden AGAIN, I am done.

We don't know the specifics, so I will continue to assume that the BOT or ADMIN is right and I will slurp their cackss just like Al's.

Newsflash: Those Potatoes who made the decision to hire Al and extend Al, are also the ones who are deciding not to firing Al. What makes you believe they have any ***ing clue what they're doing? What makes you think they know what is best for the program?

They all ***ing suck, they don't have a clue.

I think you sit their and act sophisticated and intelligent. What type of porster says the following?

I used to think a good many of the posters were smarter than this, but it's blatantly apparent that's not the case.

I did and he like the rest of us, doesn't know what's in the contract or you can be sure he'd say he did. His is an opinion piece and while I generally agree with what he writes, he should stick to facts and not opinions.

So why are you here if you haven't watched a snap since the Cincinnati game? Why would you trouble yourself with something that's not important anymore?'

SHUT IT DOWN....That's one of the dumbest things I've read here in a while. The athletic department is still profitable last I knew, that's ultimately what matters to the powers that be. Sure, some may want more, but maybe the general consensus is to have a clean program and thanks to the ACC, a fiscally sound athletic department. I however hope they want more than just to be profitable, time will tell.

Slurp, potatoes....cute. Nobody says you have to accept anything, I don't. I used to spend a few thousand a year on travel expenses to attend games and buying merchandise, but that stopped in '07 or '08. I always said, the best way to let your voice be heard is through your wallet and I'm sure they've heard it at this point.

Sitting here talking about whatever half truths or facts, labeling whomever whatever, it doesn't do a darn thing. Most people would call that talking out your ***, assuming things, etc. As I said, have at it though if it makes you all warm and fuzzy.

Hire a Strong A.D. for the U #FireBlakeJames

or

Hire a Real A.D. for the U #FireBlakeJames

Give us the names of potential replacements since you're apparently qualified to say what a REAL AD is or isn't.

Way to fight, but I must ask, are you in a position to benefit from Al or Blake being in their present positions? You are all in it seems. My question is why? It's year 5! Not one or two, not even three.. Why do you think we are on the right road? Was it the 6-7 season last year? Or the 5 losses to FSU? Maybe the win vs 4-8 Florida? How do you justify losing to teams with worse recruiting classes than us, in spite of this "cloud"? Temple? The team we "stole Al" from is ranked! Memphis, Toledo, **** even Houston! Check their last four classes! They had no cloud, but we got better players! Still... And we can't win the worst division, of the weakest conference in the land! So, tell me about players not in trouble. Guess the one's that got kicked off team don't count? (Figs, Paul, Gadbois, Blue, etc....) Not saying they shouldn't have been kicked out, just saying, Randy had same record without all that baggage. Why did he get fired? Al sucks

/\___ Look at second or third accounts surface.

I don't care who the AD, coach, president is, or any other person who has a hand in this team as long as we win. Our record last year along with other issues, clearly indicates we kept Al for reasons other than performance.

Hey, you're using the line I said when we hired Al. I was the first to jokingly say we stole the Temple coach. It's been a **** show since, excuse after excuse, and you did a good job covering most of them though.

I'm never one to excuse anything, but IMO, it's obvious the Al situation prior to this year was like a runaway train that nobody could slow down and hopefully it's stopped this year.
