Do people still not get how the "Ratings" system works with networks like Rivals?

UM kids get bumped down. Kids that commit early, or to smaller programs, get bumped down. Uncommitted, and kids that commit to the massive programs, get bumped up. Why? Subscriber base. This is all about making money. Bump up a FSU, Bama or OSU kid, there are 10 times as many fans that will come on to talk about it or read about it on Rivals/Scout/etc. UM kid? much smaller potential board traffic, so they take it out at the expense of kids committed to smaller programs like UM. There is a massive bias in ratings towards the big programs, because these sites are trying to drive up revenue from the bigger fan bases. Rudolph was a 3 star kid when he was committed to UM. Decommitted, and got 4 stars. Commits to FSU, now 5 stars. LOL. Meanwhile, a rock solid kid like KC, that has dont NOTHING but ball out and impress people, including getting RAVE reviews by kids like Hand, the #1 rated DE in the country, get bumped down. LOL.

Whole thing is a joke.

This is nothing new either. IIRC, back in Coker's day, Kyle Wright had been the unquestioned #1 QB in the country. After he committed to UM, suddenly Chris Leak at UF became a "co" #1 with KW. Its actually a miracle that Chad got a 5th star from them. Testament to how good he is. Also wonder if it has to do with him talking about visiting FSU and Bama. Get those fan bases all stirred up and sell more subsciptions and get more board traffic.
