Gonna be real interesting how the dynamics of the Big 10 will change while adding 4 pac 12 teams. Will those 4 pac 12 teams adapt to have better defenses and run games? Or will this open the door for big 10 offenses to be more dynamic

only gonna get tougher for Riley and Lanning now

Washington already surpassed them and is on the rise and now add in Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State
Washington the presumed leader for Cam Ward? He wouldn't have to move far and would start.

This argument is flawed as panning and Riley have been at their schools much shorter than Mario was at Oregon.. did Mario win it in his first 2 seasons? If not why bring this comparison up? Smh

Because we're told how quickly a new coach should be able to win. Gotta pick one side or the other.
Also Lanning had the luxury of taking over a conference title contending team that Mario built and has not been any better

ALSO: Mario did win the conference in his second year, so yes, he’s further along than Dan Lanning in the same amount of time

If we would have played Lanning’s or even Riley’s squads this season, we would have gotten destroyed.

Stop simping for Mario. After 2 seasons of horrible corching and gameday management, there are genuine things to be very concerned about.

I give him credit for being able to still pull top players like Scott, specially this late before ESD. But that does not remove the stench of his corching.

It is laughable that you compared him with a coach that in only 2 seasons at Oregon (and his only 2 seasons overall as a head coach) is now 21-5…and with a head coach that has coached 3 Heisman Trophy winners, and who has a record of 73-18 overall, including 4 Big XII Championships, and 3 CFP appearances. The guy has won 10 games or more in 5 out of his 7 seasons as a HC, with his other 2 seasons winning 9 and 7 games respectively. Meaning that he has never had a losing season as a head coach.

Do you think the easier job to take over was 3 time conference championship game appearing Oregon for Dan Lanning, or our underperforming *** school for Mario?

Dan Lanning has NEVER been a head coach before Oregon hired him. Mario has been at this HC thing a lot longer than him.

It’s already been discussed here plenty, and the evidence shows that a lot of the top contributors for Oregon were brought in by Lanning, either through recruiting or the portal. There are still some guys on the OL for Oregon that were Mario recruits, but most of them are Lanning’s kids.

Also, Mario brought in a bunch of his own guys this season. By next season there will be almost no one on the roster that was a Manny guy, so no more excuses next season.

Even using that argument, Mario won the conference his second year and Dan Lanning did not, no matter who players he had…. Regardless, the premise of your original statement was that Oregon would beat Miami this year and they both been at their stops for 2 years, which is true but doesn’t factor in the fact that Lanning started out WAY ahead in this race. Mario’s Oregon would’ve beat Miami all them years too 😂

I didn’t know OP was an Oregon fan. Only thing that matters round here or ACC and Natty titles

The good thing about Mario’s pac titles is each one erases a losing ACC season schedule because of

I'm just giving recruits the straight facts before they make their own decisions
