The University of Miami men’s basketball team earned a gritty win over Ole Miss, 75-66, Tuesday night as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
The Hurricanes (7-2) stormed out to a 42-26 lead at the half behind a barrage of 3-pointers and a pair of 7-0 runs. Miami buried eight of its 15 attempts from beyond the arc while limiting Ole Miss (5-3) to their lowest first half point total of the season.
The defense held the Rebels to 8-for-31 (25.8%) from the floor and forced seven turnovers.
