Does 8-4 or 4-8 matter when you're courting a perspective head coach or trying to save a recruiting class?

Nah. The head guy is the only thing that matters. Get the right guy, hit the ground running. Timing matters with top respect to recruiting. But if he gets canned immediately after Pitt and we have our guy lined up to accept and go, more time on the recruiting trail. You have all of December, January and up to signing day to evaluate the verbal commits and recruit other guys to fit what you want to do. The new guy (#BBB) might have his own ideas about this class. Just a thought. I don't look at this coaching change as a recruiting salvage job, this is an opportunity to get back to Miami football.

I'm not a slurper I was merely asking a question. It's a sure fire bet you're an ******* Cosig

Luckily some of the key recruits would come to Miami regardless of the coach. Talking bout Mullins, Allison, and Bruce, Irvin Jr, etc.

Well I've read a lot of people saying Golden won't be fired until the end of the season. When that point comes and they are making that decision I would feel a lot more confident if we were 4-8 vs being 8-4, I'd be afraid they end up keeping him to save a buck.

A new coach is all that is saving this class, and the better odds of getting Golden out is 4-8, therefore 4-8 gives us a better class than 8-4.

Fear not. He is out at 8-4. (8-5, we will lose to a second tier SEC team in the bowl game)

We likely won't win more than 1 game the rest of the year. FSU, Clemson, GT, Duke and Pitt are losses without question. If the team doesn't totally give up we could win one against either NC, VT, or Va.
