Is there any way we can compile some stats for the average amount of yards and/or points given up per drive after a bad special teams play? In comparison to when special teams actually does their job.

I’m sure someone with a lot of free time on their hands is up to the task.

Stats or not, it played a huge part in the LSU loss and contributed Saturday too.

Field position is like the hot chicks fat friend. It isn’t **** but it’ll **** you.

Here’s some **** to chew on, OP

We have given up 12 TDS so far and 10 FGs. 1 TD was a pick six. 1 TD was a PR so that’s 100% on specials

Of the 10 TDS, the average starting field position was opponents 36 yard line. Not ideal.

Of the 10 FGs, average starting field position was our own 49. ****. Me.

Yes. Im that guy with too much time smh

Can't remember the number off the top of my head, but we have given up 26 points give or take 3 on drives that the opposing offense went 35 yards or less on. Plus we've given up 2 non-offensive TDs. That's 40 of our 111 points given up.

On those FG "drives", basically 1 first down gets them in FG range.

Check these out:
124th (tied) in punt returns against. There's only 3 teams below us.
69th in kickoff returns against
