Reading press clippings all week about how great it is to be in the top five would have been a terrible scenario.

Here’s the thing: we haven’t really played anyone, so the narrative is we are overrated.

If we squeak by VT and ND in nail biters, the narrative will change to “this is a gritty team that knows how to win.”

We will get our just due if we win the next 2 weeks. Really, if we win this week, it’ll be hype city going into ND week.
