Colbert beat out redwine again

Richards beat harris

man what happened to njoku, he was all the rage all offseason. I assumed he would be starting, looks like Herndon is gonna hold that top spot

Herndon is being severely underrated by our fans. Dude is smooooth. The best pure TE on the team, imo.

That doesnt mean Njoku wont make his plays. He'll still be a target in the pass game. Kaaya likes spreading the ball to everyone the field.

most likely a case of Njoku not being bad, but Herndon also being really good. He's been making plays since the spring game.

Herndon is the offenses version of Toolbox. He also lines up all over the place, and I assume plays more than Njoku, snaps wise. Herndon also played very well Saturday. Both played a lot. Why would Njoku pass him up?

Njoku will get his share of opportunities but this offense is stacked so high that nobody will have a truly special season catching the ball imo.

Harris and Njoku had been killing it all camp and were barely targeted against Famu. There's just so many options for Kaaya and he's already great at spreading it around as we saw last season.

i think there will be packages with both when the big games arrive

Would like to see DJack stay at Viper with Trent banged up and have Joe Jackson backing up Chad, but that's just me.

I think for the first couple games, the depth chart doesn't mean much. It's more on the conservative side, and at certain positions it's less to do with who beat out who. Everyone is going to get playing time during these first couple games, so everyone's still getting a look.

Berrios and Lewis are on returns because they're upperclassmen who are sure handed.

Walton and Herndon are starting because of Richt's familiarity with them.

I think RB & TE starters change when we start getting into ACC play.

Herndon is a better blocker. Njoku is a flex te.

You would be wrong.
