Remember Jimmy's speech to the team in spring of 2012?

UF made Major mistakes in the second half because they were tired. We were not.

I love Jimmy's speech but I will have to disagree with your reasoning behind why they had major mistakes. Is it too hard to realize that maybe our defense played so well we FORCED those mistakes instead of the other way around. Their defense definitely wasn't tired and I think our Defense gave them all they can handle which made them press which forced them into worse mistakes. That's how I saw it going down!

Right idea, but wrong assumption (IMO)

We were the better conditioned team-- as evidenced by a Defense that still had plenty left in the tank in the 4th Q-- and despite a time of possession disparity of 3 to 1. At the half and early 3rd Q, I was very concerned our D would be completely gassed & would roll over. They were anything but! That's where the conditioning came into play if you ask me.

The gator Oline which was also out on the field a lot could not fend off our D, despite the chunks of yardage at times. they were inefficient and boneheaded, but also got hit very hard. A lot.
