‘Tis June 9th, we are essentially 33% through the last month before fall camp starts and we can begin over analyzing coaches speak, green tree results as well as see how jacked our guys have become over the summer. But more importantly we get to finally get a look at our new summer arrivals, getting our guys back from injury and finally see what a full Miami roster looks like under Cristobal.

BUT unfortunately that’s still 6-7 weeks away….SO it is time for us to a little exercise calllledddd FANTASY schedule.

Picture this: You’re Rad the Impaler and Miami just entered their first year being an independent & every team wants a piece of the canes.

In this exercise you must do 5 away games, 7 home + a BYE. No FCS opponents & Minimum of 8 P5 Opponents and maximum of 10. Your goal is to give Miami a schedule filled with enticing as well as winnable matchups that can put us on the map & set us up for success. I’ll go first!

1 Vs FIU
2 @ Texas
3 Vs Arkansas ST
4 Vs Georgia Tech
5 @ Notre Dame
BYE
6 Vs UF
7 @ USF
8 Vs Virginia Tech
9 Vs FSU
10 @ Nebraska
11 Vs FAU
12 Vs Ohio State
13 @ UNC

Gives us 4 Marquee Away Games & 2 of which have a historical past + 4 home games that are either rivalries or a historical past. Roughly 3-5 top 25 matchups with no grueling stretches. Definitely a 9-3/10-2 record with the possibility of 11-1.

……..we need football to start

Miami should not legitimize FIU, FAU, or USF. Reason one, we should beat them easily yet gain nothing by doing so. Reason two, a loss is shameful and embarrassing, like to FIU in Manny Year One.

IMO.

death wish..........................

I would swap OSU for Pedo State just to kick Manny's ***. But we should play FSU, UF, Notre Dame, and VA Tech without exception. Include some old Big East classics like Pitt, West Virginia and everyone else can be rotated with 1 game earmarked for either an FCS or G5 opponent.

Sample schedule:
Week 1: Bethune Cookman
Week 2: Arkansas State
Week 3: @ Florida
Week 4: Louisville
Week 5: BYE
Week 6: @ West Virginia
Week 7: Pitt
Week 8: @ Virginia
Week 9: FSU
Week 10: @ Notre Dame
Week 11: Duke
Week 12: Boston College
Week 13: @ Virginia Tech
