I have never seen so many fans abandon a team, and coach quicker than some of the 'fans' (for lack of a better word) on this website. Last time I checked we've been running on the "I stand with the U" campaign for the past two years. Where'd that go?

Embarrassed in some of the people on here. I don't care what any of you bandwagon fans say. Al Golden was and is a blessing for this program. If you're calling for his head after this weekend then GTFO right now.

We aren't putting on Gator, Seminole, Bulls or Golden Knight hats. We are ****ed off from the last decade of the same garbage with 3 coaches.
 
Ive come to realize that a lot of people on here are not Miami fans, they are pot stirrers that were lying in the weeds waiting for this day which everyone knew was coming this year when 95% of people predicted 9-3, 10-2. The agenda going on here is utterly flabbergasting

In what way, shape, or form can you be ****ed at Al Golden? Morris lost his confidence on his own. His offense is a sprained ankle away from a 3rd stringer becoming a starter in two KEY positions. His defensive coordinator is the first coordinator who thinks that adding depth to zone will stop teams from beating us with underneath routes.
 
Standard default Coker, Radio and now Golden apolgists. Blame the fans. It's THERE fault!
 
I apologize for being such a bad fan that I actually have high expectations for my team. Crazy, I know?!?!?
 
It's amazing to me that people think Miami has so many bandwagon fans. Like....where are they? We've been ****** for a decade, what bandwagon is there to even be on?


Someone please show me where are these people dying to hop on the road to 7-6 mediocrity bandwagon.


Golden may turn out to be a blessing, but he certainly hasn't proven it on the field thus far.

If someone had "abandoned" this team like you say, then they wouldn't even still be posting on here.


And if you consider me a bandwagoner because I dare to criticize a coach who produced that ****** display yesterday and is 5-10 against teams with winning records, then you can eat a ****.

I love Al but last night was eye opening. He is blamed because we can not move the ball as he needs to get on Coley to change things. He is also to blame because we have given up over 1000 yards and 83 points in the last two weeks. As a "defensive coach" this should never happen. From the comments of the staff alone there is zero feeling that Coach D is under fire. That's what we are ****ed about. Al is great in so many ways but there is a fine line of being politically correct and winning national championships. The best coaches are jackasses and we have not once ever felt that from him in any setting. Our team plays the same way which is with a lack of fire. If you don't agree then rematch the game last night

So Golden isn't responsible for fixing his d coordinators mistakes. If Morris is really still hurt, it's smarter to play someone that is actually healthy. We've been winning despite Morris. Miami is not a program that should barely beat wake forest, period.

I like Al, but he's had several deficiencies this year that only ugly wins have covered up. True fans want to help their team and accepting this **** product sure as **** won't help.
 
You are correct. That does not change the reality that we need a staff shakeup, and we'll likely get it.
 
I guess OP missed the other 2 threads started by super fans pointing out lesser fans.
 
Just because our fanbase went from hiring a plane to fly a celebratory banner to wanting to hire a plane to kamikaze into the UM coaches box, all within the span of two weeks, doesn't make us bipolar or bad necessarily....wait a sec....

I agree with this 100%. We need to quit blaming Golden and find out who the a-hole was that hired and retained Dorito. And after that we need a hard target search of every outhouse henhouse and bathhouse to determine who decided that hiring an OC and letting him do on the job training for one of the most important seasons in UM history was a good idea. After we find those guys I say we take up a collection to build a statue of Golden on campus.
 
Being 7-2 would be great under different circumstances. And losing a couple of games would be fine on paper.

But its how we got there that sucks a big fat **** and if OP ca n t see it he can kick rocks.

We just got humiliated on defense by the 101st ranked offense in the nation. There were guys wide the **** open on every god**** play vatech ran. Their qb has been a joke all season ******* long and he looked like fran tarkenton against us. We escaped with a win against 1-5 unc and against a wake forest team who has lost by a combined score of 72-3 the oaat two weeks.

Excuse us "fake" miami fans for being a little ******* disturbed at recent events.

This thread sucks almost as much as this team.

I hate to be the one to have to break it to this guy, but the "fake" UM fans? They aren't posting here complaining about mediocrity. They are out buying an FSU hat. That's a fake fan.

Not accepting mediocrity and not apologizing for incompetence doesn't make you "fake." There were a whole gang of pollyannas during the last two regimes. They'd tell you that you were crazy, dumb, or worse for asking if Coker or Shannon were up to the task. How'd those years turn out again?
 
Multiple times I have read the patience that fans have had waiting for over 10 years to return to respectability. The road has been a bumpy one. A frustrating one. One where hope was given and then snatched away time and time again. One where a once loaded team has dwindled down to a resurrection or reclamation project.

But Duke Johnson, Al Golden, Deon Bush, Tracy Howard weren't around 10 years ago and deserve our patience for fighting through the NCAA, battling the outsiders.

Us against the world - until we turn on them after a tough loss. They weren't here 10 years ago, but those coaches, key players and many recruits are signing up to right the ship.

The last two weeks have been brutal, but let's stick to some of the good discussion and away from the I told you so bull****. Cool fan that is happy to run to the board to post they were right after a loss. ******* sad.
 
People like OP make me sick. They've become mesmerized by a tie, a nice head of hair, a binder, and a whoooole lot of unsubstantiated talk and hype generated by one man's broken promises. Wake up.

You wake up bra... the tie guy has gone to bat for this program when it has been down in the dumps, and is recruiting his *** off. What promise has he broken?
