No offense, but if you listen to QAM you've either been lobotomized or are standing in the lobotomy line with the next number in your hand.

post game show, lobbying Larry Scott for Head Coach.

I would hire Larry Scott as UM's head coach because he is smart, can coach and recruit well. I think he has a very bright future.

The reason you don't hire Larry Scott is very simple. Does Larry Scott have the pull and industry relationships to land elite OC's and DC's along with quality assistants? This is where an experienced Head Coach makes all the difference. Larry Scott has not developed those kind of relationships to get NFL assistants or qulaity Coordinators.

Downvoted until I read the rest. Too premature on my part.

I think Larry Scott has a lot of potential. But he needs to go to a lower program first and prove his worth there. I like what Larry Scott has done. But we need a big hire in this coaching search. Still though, Scott has done a much better job then his predecessor.

Its typical fan knee jerk reactions stuff. Same type of thing when fans want the next coach to be whoever just won a big game or whose team has strung together a few wins. Remember all the Narduzzi talk?

MMM, Cityboy so you can tell us all those things about Larry. Heck, I think he should run for President because his qualifications are far superior to the current resident of 1600 Penn Ave. My my, what has become of critical, logical, sensible, and intelligent thinking in this country? Larry, you DA MAN!

Randy Shannon was promoted from a fired Larry Coker staff. Why would you want any part of Golden's staff taking over the mess he created? The hire needs to be a complete 180 from Golden's personality and everything else about him to salvage the grease fire he created.

Lets not put the guy down. he has done a great job replace Golden and I think he will make a very good head coach one day. Not UM now, but one day. URBAN MEYER was never a DC or OC b4 he was a head coach.

This guy gets it.

Our fans are the worst. They aim for the lowest bottom of the barrel options. Mario ceistobol, strong, some randon coordinator lets pray our admin is smarter than our dumbass fanbase

Would be an absolute disaster. The recruiting class would implode even more, and the fan base would storm the presidents office with pitch-forks and torches. With that being said it wouldn't shock me in the least if the administration made this move.

I would like to keep him on staff for a few years before he gets an opportunity to be a HC at one of the programs you mentioned.
