Gattis' comments about Chaney make me feel Chaney is going to take a while to be fully ready. Same point with John Campbell, though the latter sounds to be further along. I know I'm reading (a lot) into his comments. But we've had many injuries over the years. And any time a coach says the player needs to start "trusting he's completely healthy" is a signal we're not out of the tunnel. I obviously hope I'm wrong. And we still have a while before A2M.

Can someone confirm this about Knighton?

2021 Roster - Knighton was listed at 190 lbs, but actually played at 180
2022 Roster - Knighton is listed at 180 lbs, but has actually bulked up to 190

Is that correct?

Said it in other thread, sometimes its mental, it hasnt even been a full year yet.. No reason to rush these kids like King and then they out here before they need to.. We have 5 backs, we can afford to let him ease in..

Been a while since I played football but I don’t remember coaches listing players as lighter than they are. If anything they usually exaggerate a little. Would be surprised to learn that they’re intentionally saying Knighton is 10 pounds lighter than he is but again I don’t pay too much attention to stuff like that anymore
