1. Al Golden has NEVER won the big game (save perhaps vs Florida last year).
2. First year he got a break (deservedly so because of Shapiro), second year the players were too young (I may be able to buy that), last year Duke, Dorsett etc were injured after starting 7-0 and he may have had an excuse (Duke would have made a difference IMO) but the is absolutely no excuses this year including Kaaya starting.
3. After humiliating our beloved canes and our fan base he better understand that this is it and grow some balls because he will not make it through this season. His coaching against Louisville has taken away any benefit of doubt (most unprepared game considering the time he had and the team he has).
4. Nebraska is now a must win for him. He brought that upon himself.

I am a big cane fan and homer but I am throwing in the towel. We need to win NOW and win all season. 3 losses max and I am being pussified bc of his previous coaching.

The Nebraska game will tell us where Golden and this coaching staff are at. 2 cupcakes to get everything together before the gauntlet. 8 straight conference games, with us already sitting at 0-1 with a loss to UL. Lose one more and it become tough to get to the ACC game, lose 3 guaranteed not to get in. If what we've seen on Labor Day is repeated at Nebraska things are going to get bad closing out the season with FSU, Duke (yes freakin Duke), UVA, GT, UNC, VT, Pitt, and Cincy.

90% of these threads could be combined into one. Perhaps we could start a misery index here, we'd have plenty of qualifiers.

I can agree with that.

The wheels will come off if we play bad against Nebraska.
